I vowed that I would never use canned cranberry sauce again, and since this recipe was created, I have been able to keep that promise!

Steps:
- 1. Place fresh cranberries and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- 2. Wrap cinnamon sticks, allspice berries and cloves in a spice bag and place in the saucepan.
- 3. Cook until the cranberries begin to burst, about 10 minutes.
- 4. Stir in sugar and reduce heat to low. Continue cooking until sugar has dissolved.
- 5. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Discard spice bag. Chill for 8 hours or overnight before serving.
