How to make Easy Gaelic Irish Steak

Steps:
- Brush steaks with olive oil.
- Coat all sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat pan to med/high.
- Lay steak in pan and cook 4-5 min, flip and cook an additional 4-5 min.
- Top each steak with 1 TBS butter & 1 TBS minced garlic.
- Let butter melt and flip steak, spooning butter over top.
- Lay steak on sides, searing edges, maybe 10 sec each side.
- Remove from pan and let rest while making whisky cream sauce.
- Add whiskey to pan, scraping bottom bits from pan, letting whiskey cook off alcohol, about 5 min.
- Lower heat and add heavy cream, whisking constantly. Cook and simmer until sauce thickens & reduces. Add more salt & pepper if needed.
- Pour sauce over top of steak.
