Easy Coconut Cream Cake image

This cake needs to be stored in the fridge. I find cream of coconut in the aisle where you find drink mixers.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 box cake mix, yellow or white
1 can(s) cream of coconut
1 pkg shredded coconut
1 pkg cool whip,thawed

Steps:

  • 1. Prepare cake mix according to package directions, ADDING 1 cup of the coconut to batter. Bake in 13 x9 pan according to package directions.
  • 2. While cake is still warm, poke holes in cake, drizzle cream of coconut over top. Place in fridge to cool completely.
  • 3. When cool, frost cake with the cool whip topping.
  • 4. Sprinkle package with remaining coconut and put in the fridge to cool. Enjoy
