Number Of Ingredients 7

cooking spray
1 large Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, cut into 8 (1/2-inch) slices
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup apple juice
1 cup white sugar
½ cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a glass 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Wrap each apple slice with a crescent roll. Place in the prepared pan.
  • Combine apple juice, sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a microwave-safe dish. Microwave until butter is melted, heating in 30-second intervals. Mix well. Pour evenly over rolls. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake until golden and apples are soft, about 15 minutes more. Serve hot.
