DUMPLINGS FOR STEW image

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 Cups all purpose Flour
4 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk

Steps:

  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add milk and stir to make a soft ragged dough. Add more milk or flour if needed. Drop dough into stew by the spoonful.Cover stew tightly and simmer for 15 minutes. I add sage or other herbs to these, esp in pork stew with apple cider base.
