Drunken Pasta image

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 1/4 cups dry red wine, divided
1 1/2 cups water
12 ounces pasta
1/4 cup olive oil
4 cloves garlic, sliced
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2 cup parsley or cilantro, chopped
1/2 cup parmesan

Steps:

  • Cook pasta in 3 cups wine and water, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid
  • Saute garlic and pepper in oil. Add 1/4 cup wine and cooking liquid. Simmer and add pasta, then parsley and parmesan.
