Dr. Oz Green Smoothie image

I LOVE this recipe!!!!!! I initially thought this would be vile.. honestly it's green and well who would think kale could be masked in a smoothie... but it's GREAT!!. It may not be for everyone but it's a great way to get in nutrients especially on a low calorie diet or VLCD. It comes out a bright green and no juicer is required just a blender. This recipe was featured in Woman's World magazine. I usually use 1 tbs Chia seed powder and Mandarine oranges and 1 cup Kale

Number Of Ingredients 9

3/4 teaspoon chia seeds
10 green grapes
3 orange slices
3/4 cup kale
1 cup spinach
1/2 banana
1/2 pear
1/3 cup ice
3 tablespoons water

Steps:

  • Cook Kale in pot until tender, about 3 minute Remove and rinse under cold water until cool to touch.
  • While Kale cooks prep other vegetables and fruit.
  • Peel the Pear.
  • Place all items in Blender and Blend to taste.
