Double Cranberry Crostini image

Turkey and cranberries make this appetizer perfect for holiday entertaining.

see savings 1/3 cup dried cranberries
see savings 2 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened
see savings 2 tablespoons chopped pecans, toasted
see savings 1 teaspoon finely chopped, peeled fresh ginger
see savings 1 teaspoon lime juice
see savings 1 16 ounce loaf baguette-style French bread
see savings 4 ounces thinly sliced smoked turkey or ham
see savings 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
see savings 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
see savings 1/3 cup dried apricot halves, chopped
see savings 1/3 cup golden raisins
see savings 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
see savings 2 tablespoons cranberry juice
see savings 3/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
see savings 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Prepare Cranberry-Ginger Chutney; let cool. Preheat oven to 375 degree F. Place dried cranberries in a small bowl with enough boiling water to cover; cover and let stand 15 minutes. Drain well. In a medium mixing bowl beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in drained cranberries, pecans, ginger, and lime juice; set aside.
