Time 2h5m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 c water
1/3 c butter
4 1/2 c flour
1/2 c brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast

Steps:

  • 1. If using a Bread Machine: Place all ingredients in the pot in the order given. Set to Dough setting.
  • 2. If making by hand: Make sure butter is soft. Add yeast to warm water and mix with all ingredients. Flour the counter so that you can knead dough without it sticking. Knead for 15 mins making sure to mix the ingredients well. Place dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel. Make sure it is in a draft free place. Let rise to double the size.
  • 3. Once the dough has doubled in size punch down and make 12 round golfball size buns and place in a greased 13x9. Cover and let rise again. Bake at 350 for 25 mins.
  • 4. I brush mine with butter as soon as they come out of the oven.
