DESSERT. HERSHEY'S ORIGINAL FUDGE image

Number Of Ingredients 7

Hershey Chocolate Co. from old Cocoa tin
2/3 cup Hershey's® cocoa
3 cups granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1/4 cup butter -- not margarine!
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Combine cocoa, sugar, and salt. Add milk gradually. Mix well, bring to a bubbling boil. Boil on medium heat to soft ball stage (236f). Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla. Cool slightly. Beat until thick. Pour into an 8"x8" greased pan. Cool completely and cut into squares.
