Delicious Surprise Cookies image

Absolutely delicious cookie with a luscious surprise in the center.

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 cup(s) flour
1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1 cup(s) butter
1 cup(s) sugar
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 package(s) (9 ounce) solid chocolate mint wafers or milk chocolate squares

Steps:

  • Sift together dry ingredients. In large mixer bowl,cream butter and sugar and brown sugar. Blend in unbeaten eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients gradually; mix well. Cover; chill 2 hours. Enclose each wafer in a rounded tablespoonful of dough. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove.
