Delicious Red Velvet Cake image

1 units cake
5.5 cups sugar
1 cups wesson oil
1 bottles red food coloring
2 units eggs
1 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups flour
0.25 teaspoons vanilla
1 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 units icing
8 ounces cream cheese
0.5 sticks butter
1 boxes powdered sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla

Steps:

  • CAKE: Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream together sugar, oil and food coloring. Add eggs and beat. Add remainder of ingredients and beat well.
  • Bake in a 13x9-inch greased pan for 30 minutes. Cool before frosting.
  • ICING: Mix cream cheese with melted butter; beat well until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Spread on cooled cake.
