Dad's Barbecue Sauce image

1 units onion
2 tablespoons butter
0.5 bottles ketchup
0.25 cups vinegar
0.5 cups brown sugar
0.5 cups water
0.5 teaspoons salt
0.25 teaspoons pepper
1 tablespoons mustard
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Brown onion in butter, stir in the remaining ingredients and simmer 1/2 hour.
  • Add in 2 pounds shredded beef or pork; simmer 15 more minutes.
