Steps:
- Beat eggs until lemon colored and creamy.
- Stir in cream (I think 1/2 and 1/2 here), milk, sugar, and salt.
- Sift in flour to make a stiff dough.
- Turn out on a floured board and knead 7 minutes until elastic and smooth.
- Cover and let rest 10 minutes.
- Roll out half the dough at a time.
- Cut a center in each piece.
- Fry a few at a time in hot fat 400 degrees Fahrenheit to a golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
