Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 lb ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
2- 8 oz cans crescent dinner rolls
4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c chopped onion
16 oz can refried beans
8 oz can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp oil
1/3 c cornmeal
2 c shredded lettuce
1 c tomatoes, chopped
taco sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2. Brown meat and onions together; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix, beans, and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 minutes.
  • 3. Unroll crescent rolls into triangles. Place in ungreased 10x15 jelly roll pan or casserole(I use a 9x13). Press over bottom and up sides to form crust. Brush dough with oil; sprinkle with cornmeal.
  • 4. Spoon hot mixture over crust. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven until cheese is melted, about 1 to 2 minutes. Cut into squares, top with lettuce, tomatoes and taco sauce, as desired.
