Creme Fraiche (homemade) image

2 c heavy cream
2 Tbsp buttermilk

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium bowl, combine cream and buttermilk. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand at room temp. OVERNIGHT. Store in refrig.
  • 2. Quick buttermilk: Mix 1 cup milk with 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice. Let stand 5 min to thicken.
