Creamy Pecan-Dijon Sauce image

Shallots, garlic, Dijon mustard and sherry flavor this easy cream sauce. Pecans and grapes are stirred in just before serving over sliced turkey.

Yield Makes about 2-1/2 cups or 20 servings, about 2 Tbsp. each.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 Tbsp. chopped shallots
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 cup whipping cream
1/3 cup dry sherry
1/2 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup red or green seedless grapes, halved
1/4 cup GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard

Steps:

  • Cook and stir shallots and garlic in margarine in medium skillet on medium-high heat until tender.
  • Add cream and sherry; mix well. Bring just to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook 4 min. or until sauce is slightly thickened, stirring constantly. (Do not boil.)
  • Stir in pecans, grapes and mustard. Serve over sliced cooked turkey.
