Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. 2. In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, and cook 3-4 minutes or until soft. Pour mixture into a lg bowl. Add sour cream and next 5 ingredients, mixing well. Stir in thawed potatoes. 3. Pour mixture into prepared dish. Top evenly with potato chips. Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
