CREAMY HASH BROWN CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 c butter
1 16-oz container sour cream
1 10 1/2-oz can cream of celery soup
1 8-oz pkg shredded cheddar/jack cheese blend
1 t salt
1/2 t black pepper
1/2 t garlic powder
1 30-oz pkg frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
2 c crushed potato chips

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. 2. In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, and cook 3-4 minutes or until soft. Pour mixture into a lg bowl. Add sour cream and next 5 ingredients, mixing well. Stir in thawed potatoes. 3. Pour mixture into prepared dish. Top evenly with potato chips. Bake 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
