Creamy French Dressing image

Creamy, thick, clings to greens and only has 15 calories per tablespoon!

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
1 tablespoon(s) salt
4 1/2 teaspoon(s) paprika
1/2 teaspoon(s) dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper, i prefer white
1 clove(s) garlic, crushed
1/2 cup(s) red wine vinegar
1/4 cup(s) salad oil

Steps:

  • In 1-quart saucepan, stir all ingredients with 2 cups water until well mixed. Over medium heat, cook, stirring frequently until mixture is boiling and slightly thickened.
  • Cover and refrigerate to chill. Shake well before using. (Best if used within a week.)
