Creamy Crab Soup image

This creamy crab soup is delicious.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 c butter
1/3 c flour
2 tsp old bay seasoning
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c chicken or seafood stock
1 c each dry white wine and heavy cream
1 pkg country style gravy prepared according to package directions
8 oz crab meat
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Melt the butter in a large pot. Stir in the flour and cook until browned about 3 minutes. Add the Old bay seasoning and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk in the chicken stock, wine and heavy cream. Stir the gravy into the soup and simmer 5 minutes.
  • 2. Stir in the crab meat. Simmer 2 minutes. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
