Creamy Chocolate-Vanilla Two-Layer Torte image

A layer of creamy vanilla pudding and a layer of pudding with chocolate added make this two-layer torte an impressive (but easy) dessert for company.

32 vanilla wafers, divided
5 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
2 cups cold milk
2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
3/4 cup raspberries

Steps:

  • Line 9-inch cake pan with plastic wrap; stand 16 wafers around side of pan. Set aside. Melt 4 oz. chocolate as directed on package.
  • Beat cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Gradually beat in milk. Add pudding mixes; beat 2 min. Stir in 2 cups COOL WHIP; spread half onto bottom of pan. Stir melted chocolate into remaining pudding mixture; spread over pudding layer in pan. Top with remaining wafers. Refrigerate 3 hours.
  • Meanwhile, make chocolate curls from remaining chocolate; refrigerate.
  • Invert torte onto serving plate; remove pan and plastic wrap. Top torte with remaining COOL WHIP, berries and chocolate curls.
