Creamy chicken and rice casserole image

I have made this recipe for years and my family loves it. They all have the recipe. It has a wonderful flavor and is rich and creamy.

Number Of Ingredients 8

- 4 boneless chicken breasts or chicken pieces of your choice
1 can(s) cream chicken soup
1 can(s) cream of celery soup
1 jar(s) diced pimento
half diced - green bell pepper
1 can(s) french fried onions or more. i like a lot. :)
1 cup(s) long grain white rice
2 1/2 cup(s) chicken stock

Steps:

  • Brown chicken pieces in small amount of oil and butter mixed.
  • Mix all other ingredients and put in large casserole dish. Lay chicken on top and por a small amount of butter and oil over the top.
  • Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover and bake longer until rice is done and chicken is browned on top.
