Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 400*. Butter 1qt. casserole dish. 2. in sauce pan, saute' in butter over medium heat; onions and garlic till tender. stir in soup and cream cheese cubes; cook, strring occasionaly, until smooth and hot. 3. In casserole, alternate layer frozen potatoes and hot cream cheese sauce ending with a sauce layer. 4. Cover and bake 45 min. until sauce is bubly and potatoes are tender. Remove from oven and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
