Steps:
- Place the corn, butter, heavy cream, and sugar in a large pot. Add 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil. Cook about 3 minutes. Mix the cornstarch with the water and mix it into the corn to thicken it.
- Cook for about 5 more minutes. Taste and season with salt and pepper
