Cream Spinach image

Remember to keep stiring,It can skorch very fast. I also use this for my grouper and chicken Florentine.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 1/2 lb frozen spinach
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp all purpose flour
2 c heavy cream
1/2 tsp salt
1 dash(es) pepper
1 dash(es) nutmeg
1 pinch cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Thaw and drain the spinach.
  • 2. In a heavy pot melt butter and add the flour to make a roux.
  • 3. add the spinach,heavy cream stiring constantly. add the remaining ingredients and simmer for about 10 minutes.And serve.
