Cream Soda Punch image

A friend had an Italian Buffet, so I made this combination to simulate Italian Cream Sodas after reading many punch recipes. I was going to make an ice ring but never got a mold or pan to suit it ... so made ice "muffins" instead. It turned out VERY yummy and I had 3 requests for the recipe!! My very first invention! :D Cooking/prep time does not include freezing the ice. P.S. They had about a 1 gallon punch bowl, so I did 1/2 the recipe to start, then had some to refill when everyone kept emptying the bowl!

Yield 2 Gallons

Number Of Ingredients 10

12 (12 ounce) cans black cherry citrus Fresca soda
3 cups vanilla ice cream (Use Dreyer's Cherry Vanilla ... it is yummy!!)

6 (12 ounce) cans club soda
maraschino cherry
1 (12 ounce) can frozen juice concentrate (Safeway brand Berry Punch)

  • Drop in cherries and ice ring/muffins as desired.
  • TO MAKE ICE: Make the juice with water as directed, but adding more water than asked for.
  • Pour into mold/muffin pan and add fruit as desired.
