Cream Cheese Eclair Cake image

This is a nice treat.

CRUST:
1 c water
1/2 c butter
1 c flour
4 eggs
FILLING:
6 oz vanilla instant pudding
1 1/2 c milk
8 oz cream cheese, softened
TOPPING:
8 oz cool whip, thawed
chocolate syrup, to drizzle
nuts, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven 400. Grease 10x15 baking pan; set aside.
  • 2. In a saucepan over medium heat, add water and butter; stir. Bring to boil. Add flour; stir quickly until it forms a ball. Remove saucepan from heat. Add first egg to ball; stir quickly. Add second egg; stir quickly. Add third egg; stir quickly. Add fourth egg; stir quickly. Spread the mixture on the bottom of baking pan.
  • 3. Bake 30 minutes. Cool crust completely set aside.
  • 4. Beat milk and pudding mix. Add cream cheese mixture onto the cooled crust. Spread the Cool Whip over the top. Drizzle the top with chocolate sauce and sprinkle with nuts.
