Cranberry Pork Shoulder (Slow Cooker) image

A nice fall or winter dish for when you don't have time to stand over a stove. Serve with rice or noodles. You can thicken the sauce by adding a cornstarch slurry when cooking time is up.

3-5 pound(s) boneless pork shoulder, whole
- salt and pepper
1 cup(s) fresh cranberries, chopped
3 tablespoon(s) honey
1 teaspoon(s) grated orange peel
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Coat the crock of a 5-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Salt and pepper the roast and place in slow cooker.
  • Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast.
  • Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
