Years ago my friend would make a cranberry pork roast out of pork butt. WAY too many ingredients for me to remember! So I made this one up. My family devoured it!

Steps:
- 1. Heat vegetable oil in a chef's pan
- 2. Add pork roast. While browning, add the garlic, onion powder, pumpkin pie spice and orange rind.
- 3. After one side is browned (about 5 minutes), turn over and add onion.
- 4. When both sides are brown, put in slow cooker and add cranberry juice and cranberry sauce. Cook 4 hours on High or 8 hours on Low.
- 5. After it's cooked, save the juice to make cranberry gravy.
