Cranberry-Orange Preserves image

A delicious-sounding tart jam to spread on almost anything. Try it with scones or a turkey or ham sandwich. The holidays are fast approaching -- so be sure to grab up plenty of bags of cranberries and freeze them so you will have them all year long. Love, love, love cranberries! Number Of Ingredients 8

3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups fresh cranberries (or frozen)
2 cups orange marmalade
3/4 cup dried cranberries
1 tablespoon orange peel, finely grated
1 teaspoon lemon peel, finely grated
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves (you could also try allspice)

Steps:

  • Stir juice and sugar in medium saucepan over medium-high heat until sugar dissolves. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, simmer until mixture is reduced to 3 cups, stirring occasionally about 15 minutes. Cool. Cover and chill.
