Steps:
- Lightly grease a 9-inch square pan. In the top of a double boiler, melt the shortening with the sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat in vanilla. Return to the heat and cook, stirring, until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in the graham crackers, marshmallows, and peanuts.
- Spread mixture evenly in the pan. Refrigerate until chilled. For the topping, Melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter in a double boiler over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread over the top of brownies. Refrigerate until set.
