Crab~Stuffed Mushrooms image

I will be making these for Thanksgiving. We have had them once before and they were delish! I will post pictures as I make them. If you try this recipe I would love to hear how you liked it, if you did anything different and if you'd make it again.

1 c crabmeat , i used canned
1/2 c cream cheese
1/2 c fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 c green onion, chopped
4 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
paula deen's house seasoning, recipe follows
10 white mushroom caps
1/2 c bread crumbs, i used panko
nonstick cooking spray

Steps:

  • 1. Recipe for Paula Deen's House Seasoning ~ 1 cup salt, 1/4 cup black pepper, 1/4 cup garlic powder Mix together and store in an air tight container for up to 6 months.
  • 2. Preheat your oven to 375*
  • 3. Combine the crab meat, cream cheese, parsley, green onions & Parmesan cheese. Season with House Seasoning, to taste. Mix all ingredients until combined well.
  • 4. Prepare your mushrooms by using a damp paper towel and wiping off the dirt. Remove the stems.
  • 5. Where you removed the stem is where your going to stuff the mushroom with mixture. Top mixture with bread crumbs.
  • 6. Spray the tops with nonstick spray to help them brown. Lightly.
  • 7. Transfer to the oven and bake for about 20 mins, or until the filling is hot and melted.
  • 8. Serve warm. ENJOY!
