One of my aunts compiled a cookbook and had several of my mother's five sisters and her recipes in it. This is one that my mother makes frequently. They are so good as an appetizer or to have with cocktails.

Steps:
- 1. Allow cheese to come to room temperature and margarine to soften. Mix all ingredients, except muffins, thoroughly. Spread on muffin halves and place under broiler, broiling until bubbly and lightly browned. ENJOY!
