Crab and Corn Bisque image

1/4 cup chopped onion
1/8 cup butter
1 teaspoon flour
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
2 cups frozen corn
2 cups milk
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
salt
pepper
1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat

Steps:

  • Add onion and butter to soup pot and saute.
  • Add flour and curry powder.
  • Cook for 2 minutes.
  • While this is cooking, chop corn in food processor or blender.
  • Add corn to onion mixture and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add milk, cream, and salt& pepper (to taste).
  • Bring to boil.
  • Stir in crab meat.
  • Serve hot.
