This is a mildly sweet, buttery cornbread...quite old-fashioned except for the use of sour cream. However, the sour cream imparts a moistness and delicious flavor.

Steps:
- 1. In a bowl, stir together first 5 ingredients until blended.
- 2. In another bowl, beat together remaining ingredients until blended.
- 3. Add the dry ingredients and stir until mixture is blended. Do not overmix.
- 4. Spread batter into a greased 9x9-inch pan and bake in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until top is golden brown and a cake tester, inserted in center, comes out clean.
- 5. Cut into squares and serve warm.
