COUNTRY CHICKEN CHOWDER image

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 T. butter or margarine
1 1/2 lbs chicken tenders or cutlets cut into 1/2" pieces
2 small onions, chopped
2 ribs celery, sliced
2-3 carrots, sliced
2 C. frozen corn, thawed
2 cans Cream of Potato Soup (or Cream of Mushroom)
1 1/2 C. chicken broth
1 t. dried dill weed
1/2 C. half-&-half

Steps:

  • -Melt butter in large skillet. Add chicken; cook until browned. -Add cooked chicken, onions, celery, carrots, corn, soup, chicken broth and dill to slow cooker. -Cover and cook on LOW 4-5 hours or until chicken is now longer pink and vegetables are tender. -Turn off heat; stir in half-and-half. Cover and let stand 5-10 min or until heated through. -Garnish with croutons and fresh dill.
