Corn Salad For Picnics image

*I received this recipe from a co-worker of my sister in Jacksonville, FL AND it is so easy to remember, easy to prepare, AND SOO VERY GOOD! This is great for picnics, but I feel it is also a good addition to Easter Dinner or Church Pot-luck, etc. REMEMBER TO LET IS CHILL OVER NIGHT BEFORE ADDING THE SLICED PLUM...

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 can(s) white shoe peg corn
3 bunch green onions (sliced)
3 Tbsp helmans mayonaise
3 plum tomatoes, sliced
salt & pepper to taste :)

Steps:

  • 1. Place drained corn in mixing bowl with all the sliced green onions and a dash of salt and good shake of pepper, add the mayonaise (little or more as desired) mix well and refrigerate covered over night. The next morning, slice and add the tomatoes, stirring gently. This is so yummmy Enjoy with any picnic (keep chilled till ready to eat)
