Cookie Sheet Chocolate Cake image

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup buttermilk (2 tbsp vinegar and fill to 1/2 cup with milk)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • mix flour, sugar and cocoa in a large mixing bowl
  • heat on the stove water, butter and oil - bring to a boil, and then add to the dry mixture
  • mix eggs, baking soda, vanilla and buttermilk - add to batter
  • pour mixture on to 10 x 15 greased cookie sheet
  • bake at 350 for 25 minutes
