Steps:
- Combine butter, vanilla, salt in bowl and blend well. Gradually beat in sugar and flour. Stir in chocolate chips and 3/4 C nuts. Spread evenly on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle top with remaining portion of nuts and press in lightly. Bake 375, 25 min.
