Coconut Cream Dip image

I love coconut. Always have, since Grandma used to make a coconut coated lamb cake for Easter, and her secret recipe for coconut cream pie that everyone in the family wants, and only I got! So you make this into a dip, WOO HOO! Can't wait to try it!

Number Of Ingredients 3

8 oz cream cheese, softened
15 oz can cream of coconut (such as coco lopez)
8 oz cool whip, thawed, divided

Steps:

  • 1. Beat cream cheese and coconut cream in stand of large mixer with paddle attachment until smooth. Reserve 3/4 c cool whip for top and fold the rest in with the coconut mixture. Pack reserved topping into pastry bag fitted with a decorative tip. Spoon dip into a serving bowl and pipe remaining cool whip on top in a decorative pattern. Chill at least 1 hour or up to overnight.
