Clint's Hippie Cookies image

A great on-the-go breakfast or quick snack. Bananas and applesauce make these real moist. The oats let these get a little crispy on the outside. We added cranberries and loved the flavor combination. These are really yummy!

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 - ripe bananas
2 cup(s) rolled oats
1/3 cup(s) fruit sauce (applesauce, etc)
1 teaspoon(s) pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoon(s) chia seeds
1/2 cup(s) dried fruit

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Mix everything together, smashing up the bananas first.
  • Use a silicone baking mat or parchment paper. These are STICKY! Put them on the cookie sheet by spoonfuls and flatten them just a little bit.
  • Cook for about 25 minutes or until the edges crisp a bit. They won't become overall crispy instead they will have a chewy, soft texture.
