Clam Fritter image

My Mom's been making these for me since I was a very little gal! I just love them!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 c clams, diced
1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp salt
dash of hot sauce
2 eggs
oil
1 c flour

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients, except oil.
  • 2. Heat about 1/4 inch of oil in a large skillet until hot but not smoking.
  • 3. Drop batter, using 1/8 cup per pancake, into hot oil. Cook until golden on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
