Ciao Bella Ranch Sourdough Pretzels image

This is a simple way to put a little zing into a plain old pretzel. The ranch adds tons of flavor. Dill is the secret ingredient that adds a savory-something you just can't put your finger on. These are a cinch to throw together and a great snack for tailgating. They'd also be great in small bags for teacher gifts or holiday...

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 lb broken sour dough pretzel pieces or 2 packages of oyster crackers
1 c canola oil
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
1 tsp dry dill
1 tsp lemon pepper
1 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • 2. Place pretzel pieces in a large resealable bag; set aside.
  • 3. In a small mixing bowl, combine oil, dressing mix, dill, lemon pepper, and garlic powder. Whisk together.
  • 4. Pour over pretzels.
  • 5. Seal bag and gently massage mixture to thoroughly coat pretzels.
  • 6. Place on 2 cookie sheets in one even layer.
  • 7. Bake for 40 minutes stirring halfway through.
  • 8. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
