Number Of Ingredients 8

2 (14 oz) cans sweetened condensed milk
1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping
1 graham cracker crust
To make a Graham Cracker Crust:
1 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup granulate sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • To make the Graham Cracker Crust:
  • In a small bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and butter until well combined.
  • Press evenly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Refrigerate for one hour or bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Let cool before filling.
  • To Make the Caramel Cream Pie:
  • First, place the unopened cans of sweetened condensed milk with the labels off into a large pot of water. (When cooked, the sweetened condensed milk turns into caramel.)
  • Bring water to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 3 hours, making sure the water stays above the cans.
  • Carefully pull the cans out with a pair of tongs and then let them cool for 3 hours or up to one day.
  • Open the cans and pour the caramel into large bowl, reserving ¼ cup.
  • Fold in the marshmallow cream.
  • Pour into pie shell and chill in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
  • When ready to serve, top with whipped topping and drizzle the remaining ¼ cup caramel over top.
