Steps:
- In a pot, combine butter, sugar, whiskey and salt. Stir with a wooden spoon as the butter and sugar combine and then continue, adjusting the heat, until mixture reaches a dark golden colour. Pour in to lined pan (!2x9 or so), and then sprinkle with the nuts. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and then spread over the toffee. Let cool and then cut in to pieces.
