Number Of Ingredients 15

1 gal tomatoes ground-about peck
10 large onions
1 med head cabage
4 red mango peppers
4 green mango peppers
5 large red apples
2 pods red hot peppers
1 stalk cellary
1 head couliflour
3 large cucmbers - ground
3 lbs w sugar
1 qt apple cider vinigar or little more
2 oz mustard seed
2 oz cellary seed
1/2 oz tumic - dash of mace

Steps:

  • grind tom and onnins- sprinkle with little salt and drain over night. next morning grind other ingriendents seperated. sprinkle with salt and drain about 30 min grind apples last and do not drain combine all and cook good but not soft add more vinegar if necessery to cover Makes 15 pt Note: Concerning the onions, large is a relative term. For my current batch I used 6 because the onions I had were definitely large. Concerning the apples, use a firm apple or drain. I tried Macintosh this time and it was to soft. Concerning the "cook good but not soft", I tasted as I stirred so there is no exact time. Our heirlooms are more than wood and glass, they are also the memories we carry in our being.
