Chocolate Truffle Torte image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 box Nabisco Chocolatte Waffers
4-6 ounce melted butter
1 pint cream
5 egg yolk
5 ounce sugar
4 tablespoons rum
2 pounds dark chocolate

Steps:

  • Melt cream and cut up chocolate in the top of a double boiler.
  • Whip egg yolks and sugar until stiff.
  • Add rum to chocolate mixture. Cool to body temperature.
  • Fold in yolk and sugar mixture.
  • Grind waffers in a blender until fine. Place in bowl , add melted butter. Press mixure into 2 buttered tart pans or 9 inch spring form pans.
