Chocolate Mint Brownies image

"WARNING" due to the scrumptious nature of this recipe...Extreme Caution... is advised when consuming...(May cause sudden and unexpected tummy happiness)...LOL..Enjoy!

Number Of Ingredients 16

1 c all purpose flour
1/2 c butter,softened
1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 can(s) 16oz. chocolate syrup
1 c sugar
filling
2 c powdered sugar
1/2 c butter,softened
1 Tbsp water
1/2 tsp mint extract
3 drops green food coloring
topping
1 pkg 10oz. mint chocolate chips
9 Tbsp butter

Steps:

  • 1. Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed for 3 minutes.
  • 2. Pour batter into a greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes (top of brownies will still appear wet) Cool completely.
  • 3. Combine filling ingredients in a medium mixing bowl; beat until creamy. Spread over cooled brownies. Refrigerate until set.
  • 4. Topping: Melt chocolate chips and butter over low heat in a small saucepan. Let cool for 30 minutes or until lukewarm. stir occasionally. Spread over filling. Chill before cutting. Store in refrigerator. Enjoy.!
