Very good and moist. It has a nice light chocolate taste and the frosting is just perfect for the topping. Don't let the mayonnaise fool ya. My mom made this one time and I was hooked, so I now make it.

Steps:
- 1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa and baking soda (you may want to use less baking soda about 1 1/2 tsp.) Add water, mayonnaise and vanilla: beat at medium speed until thoroughly combined.
- 2. Pour into greased 9" square or 11"x7"x2" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool completely.
- 3. FOR FROSTING: Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in brown sugar; cook and stir until bubbly.
- 4. Remove from the heat and stir in milk. Gradually add confectioners sugar; beat by hand until frosting is of spreading consistency. Immediately frost cake.
