CHOCOLATE FILLED BON BONS image

Yield 48 cookies

Number Of Ingredients 11

3/4 C shortening
½ C sugar
¼ C brown sugar
1 egg
2 t vanilla
½ t almond
1 ¾ C flour
½ t salt
½ t baking powder
½ C finely chopped nuts
48 chocolate kisses

Steps:

  • Preheat 350. Cream shortening and sugar till fluffy. Add egg, extracts and beat well. Add flour, b.p, salt and nuts till blended. Form dough into 1 inch balls and press around kiss. Bake 12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Don't overbake.
